An interesting tidbit of things that can happen was passed on to the editor recently. Joe Zaia, FPSA, was visiting relatives in Italy and while perusing one of their photo books spotted a color photograph that had been taken by Herb Gustafson, Hon. PSA, FPSA, in Kodak's Creative Photography series (Italian text). As a side note it seems that Herb is now wondering the extent of different language texts involved that were used by Kodak as they never provided him with any tear sheets or information of such coverage on his newspaper contest prize-winning photograph.

Conference

It is hoped that those who attended this year's conference took the opportunity to take in the many Photo Travel Division (PTD) programs that were offered. Jane Kreite, FPSA, EPSA, the PTD Conference Program Chair did an outstanding job in putting it all together and it is by your attendance that it makes her efforts on our behalf worthwhile. Thank you, Jane, for a job well done.

Photo Travel Inter-club Competition

Faye Jones, APSA, has reported that the PTD Inter-club competition had a very good year with 17 clubs participating and that she has had great response to her request for clubs to judge the competitions. She is always looking for judges for future competitions and welcomes new clubs to participate in this important competition.
